Taking a break from her frustrations, Cindy Baker sits resting her head on her work station and recalls a portion of a memory - including the reassuring feel of a young man's hand. "Where is my knight in shining armor to carry me away from all this?" she whispers to her computer screen before returning to her work. Little does she know that she is about to be swept up in a twelve week long anonymous suitor romance mystery, complete with roses and poetry, delivered by a messenger dressed as a squire, riding in a long white stretch limousine, on behalf of her high school boyfriend of some twenty years ago, Red. Her heart crushed by her own decision to end their relationship blinds her to the possibility, and her tightly guarded memories of him won't allow her to even consider, it could be him. And what may be an ever bigger surprise is that the shy, timid boy she had fallen in love with back then has become a famous author, her favorite romance author, a man that has written novels that left her restless, breathless, and yearning. But the price of fame changes people. Can she love the changes in the man she remembers or will it doom them to life without the other. Clever, contemporary, and wildly romantic… Can Come True will remind you to be careful what you wish for; it may lead to happily ever after.
