About

I was born in New Orleans in 1952. Being an Air Force Brat, we traveled all over the United States, Japan & the Philippines. In 1965 dad retired and we moved home to Des Allemands, Louisiana. There I became a real tom-boy. My mom and I became gator hunters, crab fishermen, nutria trappers, crawfishermen, and duck hunters. I've survived numerous hurricanes which taught me there are caring loving ,and tight nit community. Everyone helps each other after these terrifying storms. Good thing mama taught me I how to be tough. I've lived through many horrifying, near death experience that'll be sure to make you quiver. One early morning I heard a voice from above, God had spoken to me. I did what he told me to do, and on a wing and a prayer I did what he told me to do. 10 years after mamas passing, I found a box of mamas things and in it was a hand written letter from my mom about her life story. Thats when i started writing the book. I had to do it for for my mom.
