Who is Israel? The Church, Not the State A bold, biblical, and historic manifesto that reclaims the Church's true identity. For two thousand years, the Christian Church has confessed one unbreakable truth: the True Israel is the universal body of believers in Jesus Christ-Jew and Gentile united by faith, not ethnicity or geography. From the prophets to Paul, from Augustine to Calvin, the covenant people of God have always been defined by the promise fulfilled in the Messiah. Yet in the 19th century, a novel theology emerged that shattered this consensus. Dispensationalism-pioneered by John Nelson Darby and popularized by the Scofield Bible-split God's people in two: a future for national Israel and a mere parenthesis for the Church. This seismic shift didn't just rewrite eschatology; it reshaped evangelical identity, politics, and mission. Today, Christian Zionism treats a modern secular state as the centerpiece of God's plan, funneling billions in U.S. aid while sidelining justice, Palestinian Christians, and the Church's global calling. With scholarly depth, Who is Israel? is more than a book-it's a battle cry. It's time to reject theological dualism, political idolatry, and end-times escapism. It's time to live as the covenant people God always intended.
