Emily begins to have unsettling experiences while alone, and her husband worries about her mental health. However, she's determined to uncover all the secrets of the house, her marriage, and their history. Told in alternating perspectives divided into "Me," "You," "Us," and "Them" sections, the narrations by Baxendale and Glover perfectly match the slow build of the story.
