"It's not what you think," Nicolas tries to reassure me. "I believe it's even worse!" Back then, he simply abandoned me. Yesterday at the class reunion, he wrapped me around his finger, and since today, he's my new boss... I'm Kaylee Davis. After graduating high school, I fled to London with a broken heart. My great love Nicolas Wright, the hottest football player in our class, had cheated on me with my arch-enemy Alison. Now I've landed my dream job at a law firm in New York and I'm returning to my hometown. What drove me to attend a class reunion on the very evening of my arrival? Curiosity, probably. There, I have an unexpected reunion: Nicolas is also there - and still just as attractive as he was back then. I can't resist his charm and one thing leads to another... The next day, I start my new job. At the same time, the new owner of my firm arrives at the law office - Nicolas, accompanied by none other than Alison. I'd love nothing more than to go back to London, but I've burned all my bridges there. Then Nicolas wants to speak to me in private. I seize the opportunity and immediately confront him. What I learn then, I can hardly believe... What really happened back then? What does Allison have to do with it? And can I really trust Nicolas
