Seventeen-year-old Jackie, a magically gifted cheetah shape shifter, is now the prisoner of an extremely powerful fae lord, and her situation is dire to say the least. He wants her to bear his child, an heir to carry on his legacy.
The major problem with that scenario is that Jackie has a lifemate, a man who she loves with her whole heart and who she feels she'd be betraying if Lord Kennet decides to force her into submission.
Garrett, her mate, is wildly searching for her with the help of his team of vampires and shifters and two fae Princes, Liam and Aedus, who are confident in their success and are looking forward to dealing with the fae traitor themselves.
Bridgett, Jackie's sister, is dealing with her guilt over Jackie's capture and her newly discovered feelings toward William, a vampire in Garrett's nest.
The rescue converges on three fronts as the battle for Jackie's return takes some surprising twists.
