Megan Abernathy knows two things for certain. 1. Men are trash. 2. Men that aren't complete trash, are only good for one thing… That attitude kept her safe. Work hard, play harder, don't let anyone get too close. Then one day her life changed. Her axis was permanently altered, responsibility thrust on her in the form of her five-year-old nephew, who now calls her mom. Enter Dr. James "Jim" Charlebois. With his annoyingly upbeat personality, Meg planned to avoid him at all costs. Despite her efforts to keep her distance, circumstances force them together, and the tension between them becomes palpable. They share one unforgettable night with no expectations for the future. Except fate takes control, and their paths intertwine yet again. The old Meg would have never embraced the feelings bubbling to the surface, but Jim does just enough to leave her wondering if not all men are as awful as they've once proven to be. Can she overcome her fears and let love in, or are some men just too good to be true?
