It started as a story… …but a mysterious little girl changed everything. Now, a dragon has come to East Texas and they need a hero. An Old man rises to a glory he never thought he'd know again, and all because he was coerced into telling little kids a story. A young boy, a princess, a talking sword and an evil dragon captivate snaggled-tooth munchkins... Then the old man starts to feel it. Something has risen from his past and its coming for him and the people he loves If you have ever wished for more and always settled for less if you've given up believing that real love can ever be. If you have devoured shallow notions about love and they have left a taste in your mouth that reminds you of the bottom of an ashtray. Then this book is for you. It starts out with an old theme that is remembered for a reason so central to our deepest natures and so painful that when we lack it we hide from the very idea… Till we hope again. Those feelings are exactly what the characters in this book experience. Harry Ferguson has waited a thousand years longing for the moments he shared centuries before with the only woman who fit the hollow place in his soul. When he finds her again, she is still as far away as ever, not only has she forgotten who she is, (well now that's giving away secrets… Okay fine! ) She is stuck in the body of a six-year-old, and the Hero, Harry has aged till he is an old man. But that is where the story begins, Time travel is a wonderful thing it changes you. Mentally emotionally, spiritually, and physically. So let me repeat myself… If you have ever wished for more and always settled for less, if you've given up believing that true love can ever be. (You're probably right and your soul mate was run over by a bus when he was three…) (Sorry couldn't help myself! ) Then this book is for you. It's about honor, and unrequited love, and a real live manly hero, and a heroine, and grandparents who raised a kid upright, only to find she is a whole lot more than even she knew. DISCLAIMER This book ends in a cliff hanger, you have been warned. It also doesn't have any sex in it. It has a little cussing, I mean when a dragon blows flame at you, you probably won't say fiddlesticks!
