They say you shouldn't work with kids, but then you haven't met the parents...
All of Gemma's dreams come true when she's asked to step into the role of Puddleducks Playgroup leader. She knows the place better than anyone and is determined to prove she's the right person for the job. Nothing is going to spoil this opportunity for her.
Until she meets Joe Balls, the newly appointed head of reception at the neighbouring infant school. An ex-banker more comfortable with numbers than nursery rhymes, Joe has this annoying habit of interfering with Gemma and her plans for the playgroup.
The two may not see eye to eye, but when the kids suddenly start acting out, and the parents aren't any better, can Joe and Gemma put their differences aside and work together to overcome these unexpected challenges? Janey Fraser (Author)
