The Real Jesus Christ! Unwanted, Uncomely, Unpopular! – Reflections on Isaiah 53 – with Simon Bennett
Did the prophet Isaiah's prophecy about Jesus Christ say, "Wow! What an amazing dude! He's totally awesome!"? No. Isaiah saw the Saviour as: vulnerable, despised, rejected. Christian author and Bible scholar Simon Bennett details how the distinguishing marks of a true Christian are the same as foretold in Isaiah chapter 53. Be encouraged that failure, loss and affliction on the path of the Cross lead to God's promised crown of life! The razzmatazz of the world is temporal, but the Power of the Resurrection is forever!
