Reviews

"Khaya Fraites gives a magnetic performance of this heartwarming romance set in contemporary Brooklyn. Fraites superbly brings forth the sweetness and longing for emotional connection that underlie 32-year-old Afro-Latina casting director Sasha's polished exterior. After meeting an intriguing man on a flight-a man whose name she didn't learn-Sasha enlists the assistance of Wesley, a former private investigator turned food truck owner who solved the mystery of the identity of Sasha's stalker several years earlier. Fraites performs the slow-burn romance between Sasha and the sensitive, astute Wesley with exceptional care, even as Sasha continues to pine for her fantasy airplane seatmate. Fraites creates believable and nuanced character portraits and conjures vibrant settings. Listeners seeking a swoonworthy romance will savor this story."
