The Contest for a Queen

Queen Katarine had turned down every eligible suitor to be her king consort, and yet she knew she had to take a husband. A contest, she decided, is the best way to choose a noble husband. When a shipwreck brought chained survivors to the beaches of her lands, one former slave caught her eye. The emerald-eyed former chieftain and warlord of a clan that no longer existed quickly became her favorite. But could her warlord win the contest for a queen? All Katarine knew was that as the final day approached, he had already enraptured her body and won her heart. This is a novelette and a deliciously quick listen. Opening Credits
