TAYLOR MADE
Life of an Entrepreneur, Mother and Celebrity Event Planner
Taylor Made tells the fascinating story of Liz Taylor, the unflappable, unstoppable entrepreneur and organiser of some of the biggest and best parties in the world. Respected, renowned and with a famed attention to detail, this formidable organiser of luxury events counts many of her celebrity clients as trusted friends. Over decades her determination and success has attracted the rich and famous together with an eclectic international client base allowing her to travel the world organising some of the most memorable parties imaginable. But behind the glamorous lifestyle, there is a very personal tale of juggling single motherhood, three failed marriages, betrayal, recessions, Covid-19, and the author's own mental health struggles. It explores how this inspiring woman had the determination to survive, succeed and go on to build an enviable multi-million-pound events empire.
"There are times when I have to pinch myself. As I stand in Kensington Palace coordinating an event for the future King. And when later Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift take to the stage to sing Livin' on a Prayer with The Prince. Or when I'm ironing Howard Donald's shirt, as the Take That music star practices his wedding speech. Insane moments in a roller coaster life. There is nothing typical about my world. It's a real life told in fabulous, crazy and inspiring memories."
"When Liz says jump, we all say, 'how high'!" Mark Wright, actor
"Liz Taylor - simply one of the kindest, funniest, maddest friends I have." Ruth Langsford, TV presenter
"If you were marooned on a desert island with Liz, she wouldn't build a life raft. You'd have a cruise ship within the hour! Just love her." Catherine Tyldesley, actress
