Jordy Taylor is a disaster. Over the hill by professional football standards, the veteran quarterback isn't ready to hang up his pads just yet. With contract talks stalled, Jordy retreats to quaint Crane Cove to hide from his problems. With his best friend's wedding a few weeks away, the decommissioned lighthouse is the perfect place to hide away . . . until the most off limits woman he knows almost stabs him in the shower.
Annie Price's ten year plan is in shambles. Desperate to escape the apartment she still shares with her ex-boyfriend, Annie accepts her cousin's offer to stay at the lighthouse she owns for a few weeks before her wedding. It's perfect. A little peace, a little quiet, and a whole lot of naked quarterback in the shower. Too bad she thought he was an intruder and almost killed him.
After one steamy night, Jordy and Annie agree to a simple deal: a few weeks of fun, no strings attached. But the closer they get, the harder it becomes to imagine saying goodbye.
He's everything she's ever wanted and she's everything he thinks he can never have. With their lives headed in opposite directions, can these love birds make it work or are they so flocked?
