About

Lisa LaGeorge invites readers to discover the richness and purpose of singleness within the family of God. Drawing on biblical wisdom, personal experience, and decades of ministry experience, LaGeorge reframes singleness--not as a problem to be solved, but as a rich opportunity to honor the Lord and show the world his kindness. Through honest storytelling and gospel-centered teaching, this book explores how singles can steward their lives, relationships, resources, and unique experiences with intentionality and eternal hope.
Each chapter unpacks various aspects of faithful stewardship: recognizing God's redemption, investing in relationships, thriving in resilience, and living with an eternal perspective. LaGeorge addresses real questions about identity, sexuality, and belonging, equipping singles to live with joy and confidence within the family of God. She also offers recommendations for church leaders and families to better support, encompass, and learn from singles in every stage of life.
Lisa LaGeorge, PhD, is the Senior Director for the CHF Academy at Children's Hunger Fund in Sylmar, CA, having previously served for more than twenty years in Student Development at the university level. Lisa has traveled in more than fifty countries to teach women's events, encourage cross-cultural workers, and provide teacher training workshops. Her other research and writing include the topics of missions, cross-cultural teaching methodologies, church history, and third culture kid transitions.
