Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce star in their most widely recognised roles of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. After the film versions of “The Hound of the Baskervilles” and “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” were released in 1939, Rathbone and Bruce reprised their film roles in a radio series, “The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes”, which began in October 1939. Now you can listen 30 select episodes of the duo in “The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes from the years 1943—1946.”
