In a world where magic is a part of everyday life, Caelin wishes for nothing more than to awaken her first element. That is, until she awakens the forbidden Shadow Element. Now, hunted by the High-Elven Empire and their Legion of Shadow Hunters, Caelin and her friends must travel to the hidden city of Fendirasu. Only there will they be safely out of the Empire's reach.
Can Caelin stay one step ahead of the Empire, or will her dream of harnessing magic be her undoing?
Shadow's Awakening is the debut novel by Jess Naudé, and is set in a unique world full of magic, Elves, Dwarves, and all manner of other fantasy races and creatures.
