Elaine Rowe is a Toronto writer who likes to write for children (and others) about unexpectedly talented animals and resourceful women. After years of hiding her light under a bushel, she decided to see if anyone else likes her stories. This one is about a woman whose husband has died suddenly, and she gets some unexpected help coming to terms with her loss.
