About

When I began my deconstruction journey, what I found were people on the right who saw deconstruction as a threat to their positions of power and refused to deal with the dysfunction, abuse and political extremism in the church. On the left are people who are more concerned with social justice causes than the moral obligations and commands found in scripture. So, I saw a need and have attempted to fill it. Redemptive Deconstruction takes on the extremism of the far-right and the far-left simultaneously. This not a comfortable place to be in, but I feel it's more in line with what Jesus and the Apostles taught. If you're someone like me, who still believes the bible means what it says but are disgusted by the corruption and abuse in the Evangelical church, then this book is for you. In this book, I present an honest, yet positive path forward for the Evangelical church. It's a path that honors the truth of scripture and promotes renewal within the church. It's time to burn off the chaff and dross of dead religion and find our life in Jesus again. If this is you, you are not alone.
