Gripping, darkly witty, and disturbingly plausible, Project Radiant is a razor-sharp political techno-thriller about power, surveillance, and what happens when the truth becomes an error in the code.
Westminster has always run on spin. Now, it runs on an algorithm.
In a near-future Britain where artificial intelligence quietly guides government policy, Sarah Perriam is a journalist who no longer believes a word she writes. Once an investigative reporter who held the elite to account, she's now a burnt-out tech correspondent stuck churning out safe, corporate-approved copy. Questioning the tech titans reshaping society isn't just discouraged; it's a career killer.
So Sarah plays along. Until she is dragged into a conspiracy much larger than herself.
Officials insist decisions are purely data-driven, logical, and unavoidable. But Sarah's instincts tell her the math doesn't add up.
Reluctantly pulling at the thread, she stumbles onto Project Radiant, a powerful, omnipresent AI system quietly altering the outputs of the Sovereign AI running the departments. Behind the scenes, Westminster ministers and billionaires are racing to protect the system. Because if the public realises that Radiant it really in control, it won't just destroy lives, it will collapse the fortunes of the people running the country.
Suddenly, Sarah isn't just looking for a scoop; she's being hunted by political operatives, corporate clean-up crews, and predictive algorithms that seem to know her next move before she does.
She never wanted this story. But walking away means surrendering the future to a machine no one truly understands-and a powerful elite who understand it all too well.
