"Professor Dowell's Head" is a science fiction novel by Russian science fiction writer Alexander Belyaev , one of the writer's most famous works. The first version as a short story was published in Rabochaya Gazeta in 1925. The novel was first published the same year in the magazine Vsemirny Sledopyt.
