Housetraining dogs is about consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. The goal is to instill good habits in your pet. It is also important to manage your expectations. You can't expect your puppy to be fully housetrained and fully independent before he's six months old. But you can certainly start housetraining them between one to six weeks.
