Jagger Evans is one of the most sought-after accountants in Diamond Cove, North Carolina. His ability to launder money has him on the payroll of some of the city's most notorious criminals. When his father was sent to prison for life, Jagger's uncle made it his business to ensure that Jagger didn't suffer the same fate. He sent Jagger to college with plans to keep him on the cleaner side of the business, but unforeseen circumstances put Jagger in the midst of his uncle's empire. Even though it's been years since Jagger had to get his hands dirty, he doesn't shy away from the tasks that are put in front of him. When Jagger continues to find himself in the company of someone who should pretty much be off-limits to him, temptation rears its ugly head, and lines are crossed. Andrina Moore is with one of the city's biggest bosses. Until tragedy occurs. Like all the wifey's of fallen gangsters, she has to pull herself up by her bootstraps and keep it moving. But when a person who should be considered her foe crosses her path one too many times, Andrina finds herself questioning the cruelties of life. One love has already been taken from her and the temptation being dangled in front of her is everything that she doesn't need but everything that she wants.
