Bartimaeus knew Jesus was his only hope for healing, for a better life. So even as the crowd jostled him, scolded him, told him to be quiet, he unleashed a desperate plea and shouted louder. This time Jesus stopped and said nine words that changed the trajectory of his life-and will change yours: "What do you want me to do for you?"
Unpacking this unforgettable encounter between Bartimaeus and Jesus with his unique humor, storytelling, and fist-pumping motivation, Chuck E. Tate shows how it can also be your story. Revealing faith-building biblical truth and wisdom, he shows how to overcome obstacles to boldly approach God; rise above resistance to receive from God; dream big and believe in God for the impossible; and move from desperately calling for Jesus to passionately following Him.
God always does exceedingly more than we can ask or imagine. So go ahead and shout-and receive all he has for you.
