From the author of the worldwide best-seller, Mutant Message Down Under comes another powerful narrative tribute to the ancient wisdom of a disappearing race. This moving story of Australian aboriginal twins separated at birth will carry you from outrage to elation. Sent away from their ancestral home and raised by whites, the twins grow up knowing nothing of their family or cultural heritage. Each struggles to find a sense of identity and purpose in the face of alienation and despair. Their life stories bear witness to the racist atrocities inflicted on aboriginal people, but also to the incredible strength of spirit which allows them to survive. Like Mutant Message Down Under, this novel offers an inside look at the traditional culture of "the Real People," whose sense of spirituality infuses every aspect of daily life. Patricia Conolly's impassioned delivery of their message of hope will leave you with an empowering new perspective on your life and humanity.
