After her older brother is killed in a gang shootout, 15-year-old Angel must shoulder the burden of providing for her younger siblings and their heroin-addicted mother. She earns some dirty cash at an unscrupulously run strip club, but then the joint gets raided. Now working the Brooklyn streets might be her only remaining option.
