The first book in New York Times bestselling author Tina Reber's The Love Series, this sexy contemporary romance pairs Hollywood glamour with small-town charm-and asks what happens when real love collides with fame.
Ryan Christensen only wanted to be an actor. He never imagined a life ruled by paparazzi, obsessive fans, and studios eager to control every move he makes. While filming in the quiet seaside town of Seaport, Rhode Island, Ryan escapes the chaos by ducking into a local bar-where one unexpected encounter changes everything.
Recovering from heartbreak, Taryn Mitchell has learned to keep men at arm's length. But when a world-famous movie star walks into her pub, his humor, warmth, and undeniable chemistry catch her off guard. Ryan may be every tabloid's fantasy, but Taryn refuses to be just another swooning fan.
As their connection deepens, reality intrudes in the form of headlines, jealous admirers, and relentless media scrutiny. Drawn together by passion but tested by fame, Ryan and Taryn must decide whether their relationship can survive when love doesn't follow the script. Tina Reber got her first library card at the age of four and, as the daughter of a small town librarian, books have always held a special place in her life. She is the author of The Love series, including Love Unrehearsed and Love Unscripted, as well as the Trent Bros series. She lives in a suburb of Allentown, Pennsylvania with her husband and son who allow her to slip away into fictional worlds on a daily basis. Visit TinaReber.com.
