Love and Freindship tells the story of Laura and Marianne. These two women write to each other about romance and wild coincidences which takes place in their everyday lives. But what adds to the charm of the story is Jane Austen's inimitable wit and her parody of the traditional romantic conventions whose beginnings are visible in this early work of fiction.
