The Zondervan Biblical and Theological Lectures series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, Lord Jesus Christ: Audio Lectures include high quality live-recordings of college-level lectures that cover the important points from each subject as well as relevant material from other sources. In Lord Jesus Christ: Audio Lectures, scholar and author Daniel Treier takes up the study of the doctrine of Christ in a way that is biblical and historical, evangelical and ecumenical, conceptually clear and contextually relevant. Lord Jesus Christ: Audio Lectures explores the doctrine of Christ by focusing upon theological interpretation of Scripture regarding Jesus's identity. Lessons trace a Christological arc from the eternal communion of the Triune God through creation, covenants, Incarnation, passion, and exaltation all the way to the consummation of redemptive history. This arc identifies Jesus as the divine Lord who assumed human flesh for our salvation. This series expounds and defends a classically Reformed Christology in relation to contemporary contexts and challenges, engaging both philosophical and global concerns. The Zondervan Beyond the Basics Video Series offers expert teaching from the world's leading biblical scholars and theologians.
