The hope of heaven is something every believer holds onto with fervency and imagination. But what if heaven wasn't only about the hope you hold for a great celestial tomorrow? What if heaven could change your life today?
In Heaven for Today, beloved Bible teacher, speaker, and author Jennifer Rothschild offers 60 devotions to help you engage heaven now. Yes, the reality of heaven will be unveiled for you day by day in this book-but so will your ability to enjoy little slices of eternity right where you sit, contemplating its wonders and being comforted by its promises in your real life.
As Jennifer says, heaven is your true and better country. And as you sojourn with her through this daily devotional book for women, expect your eyes to be opened to the place of heaven, your faith to be opened to the promise of heaven, and your heart to be opened to the person of heaven-Jesus.
Jennifer Rothschild is the author of nineteen books and bible studies, including the best-selling Lessons I Learned in the Dark, Me, Myself, and Lies, and 66 Ways God Loves You.
She's the founder of Fresh Grounded Faith women's events and hosts the 4:13 podcast where she offers practical encouragement and Biblical wisdom to live the "I Can" life. She's been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Billy Graham Television Special, among others.
Jennifer is known for her substance, signature wit, and down-to-earth style. A unique mix of profound and playful, she weaves Biblical truth with relatable stories, making the Bible accessible to those just starting out in Scripture and endearing to those who have walked with Christ for years.
She's a C.S. Lewis junkie, an obsessive audiobook listener, a dark chocolate lover, and she drinks way too much strong coffee.
She's been blind since age 15 and says the greatest lesson she's learned in the dark is that it doesn't have to be well with your circumstances to be well with your soul. Jennifer is a boy mom who is crazy about her daughter-in-law and the 3 little cuties who call her GiGi. She lives in Missouri with her husband, who she affectionately calls her very own Dr. Phil, and their little diva dog, Lucy!
