Early studies from the 90s found that people who used hypnosis lost more than twice as much weight as those who dieted without the cognitive therapy. A 2014 study worked with 60 obese women, and found that those who practiced hypnobehavioral therapy lost weight and improved their eating habits and body image. Hypnosis can specifically help people resolve the underlying psychological problems causing people to hate exercise, experience intense cravings, binge at night, or eat mindlessly. It helps people identify the triggers and disarm them. It works because it changes the way of thinking about food and eating, and it allows people to learn to be more calm and relaxed in their lives. So instead of food and eating being an emotional solution, it becomes an appropriate solution to hunger, and new patterns of behavior are developed that enable the person to deal with emotions and life. Hypnosis works for weight loss because it enables the person to separate food and eating from their emotional life. The time you invest will open up a whole new world of opportunities for you -- and show you how this wonderfully effective therapy can help you achieve substantial positive changes in your life and within your heart and soul.
