She didn't know he was hockey royalty when they met. He didn't know that would be a problem.
From bestselling indie romance author Willa Gray comes Endgame, a spicy, emotionally charged hockey romance about unexpected love, second chances, and finding the courage to play for keeps.
If Eleanor Ford had realized the gorgeous stranger she met in a bar was pro hockey veteran Matthew Anderson, she probably (definitely) would've walked away. Instead, she slept with him before she knew his name.
New to Minnesota and working long hours as an ER nurse, Ellie is trying to keep her life simple. No attachments. No complications. And absolutely no professional athletes.
Matt's rules have always been simple, too. Hockey first, everything else second. At thirty-six, he's spent his entire life defined by the ice. Now with retirement staring him down, he's quietly panicking about the unknown waiting for him when the skates come off. So he's focused on his career more than ever.
Then Ellie walks into his life and makes him want something more than the game he's spent his life chasing. Willa Gray lives on a small farm on the east coast with her husband, three little kids and (too) many cats. In her very limited free time, she's always looking for the next book, song, or film that can make her cry.
