AUDIOBOOK
Donald Trump has been an unusual political leader ever since he was first elected to the US's highest office in 2016.
President Trump's first term included more than twenty executive orders, three US Supreme Court justice nominations, and the first years of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following his loss to Joe Biden in 2020, Trump continued to speak out and influence politics. He maintained relationships with like-minded political leaders and used social media and news channels to impact public opinion. In his return as the Republican presidential nominee, he revived his call to "Make America Great Again." In 2024, during a close, often contentious race, he succeeded over the incumbent vice president, Kamala Harris, becoming the oldest person ever elected US president and only the second-ever US president to be elected to two nonconsecutive terms. This updated biography covers President Trump's former life as a reality TV show star and real estate developer, his political career and controversies, and how he shaped his unconventional third campaign.
