Welcome to Boscandia, an elven realm on the brink of civil war.
After a lifetime of war, all Fel'annár wants is to find the family he lost, and the friends he left behind. But in the forest realm of Boscandia, peace is fragile. Haunted by whispers of his glorious past, hunted by a dark plot to overthrow the crown of Boscandia, Fel'annár inadvertently walks into the heart of darkness and tribal unrest.
A malevolent power, long exiled, has returned. The Antadak, master of forbidden magic, gathers his acolytes to wage a covert war of vengeance on the Adak people for once exiling him. As he slowly poisons the land with the corrupting force of his arcane acolytes, Fel'annár is drawn into the Damned Lands, a treacherous region pulsing with ancient secrets and tribal warfare, where a prophecy resurfaces, one in which he plays a key role.
With the fate of Boscandia at stake, Fel'annár must reclaim his dormant abilities, reunite with old allies, and forge bonds with the tribal people of Adakia. But as shadows close in, can the ex-warlord of Ea Uaré and his Company stand before the devastating power of the Antadak Tarwenol? Or will this corrupting magic poison them all, and plunge Boscandia into its smothering darkness?
Perfect for fans of Brandon Sanderson, Robin Hobb, and J.R.R. Tolkien.
