If you are an IT professional wanting to further your career as a Cisco Certified professional, then it all starts with the new CCNA qualification. Recently, Cisco announced that they were revamping their certifications. They want to ensure their courses include all the latest technological innovations that pertain to their industry sector. On 23 February 2020 Cisco will be launching its new courses that affect each level of certification, from entry-level to architect level. They have retired some of their courses in an effort to streamline the certification path. Before, the CCNA consisted of multiple courses and exams, one for each network path, such as CCNA Cloud, CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security. This meant three different courses and three different exams. The new CCNA replaces these individual CCNA courses and exams, which means one course covering a broader spectrum of IT fundamentals. It also means the IT professional only has to sit one exam to obtain their certificate! This book is a guide to help you discover the new CCNA certificate.
