Worship is central to our relationship with God. Yet worship in today's churches is influenced more by the stage performances and trappings of secular concerts, and less on what God himself show us in the Bible.
Knowing the importance and power of true worship, A. W. Tozer preached on the topic regularly throughout his life. Authentic Worship presents his thoughts on what it really means to praise and honor the Lord. He exposes how many believers have unknowingly adopted a shallow, manipulative, cultural view of worship because we don't know who God is. Digging into Scripture, he reveals the character of God and shows how that directly impacts and deepens both our worship of him and our relationship with him.
The worship we begin here on earth should have its roots in heaven-and how we worship today will prepare us to worship throughout eternity before God Almighty.
