Feeling fragmented and longing for wholeness? Pastor Heath Hardesty reveals how apprenticeship to Jesus can reintegrate your life, offering a fresh vision for spiritual formation that leads to true human flourishing.
In our age of relentless distraction and digital overload, we often feel disconnected, living fragmented lives lacking in meaning and joy. Combining Biblical wisdom with hard-won insights from his former life as a plumber's apprentice, Heath Hardesty invites you to discover how apprenticeship to Jesus can transform your entire existence.
In All Things Together, Hardesty offers a fresh three-fold paradigm on following Jesus:
• Union with Christ: Our identity is rooted in a grace-born relationship with Jesus-this foundational union reshapes our entire existence. • Abiding and Obeying: The interplay of being with Jesus and doing what He says forms the essence of apprenticeship. This book charts a path to cultivate these twin habits daily. • Imaging Jesus: As we grow in Christlikeness, we become truly human, bringing coherence to our clouded vision of self and purpose to our lives.
All Things Together invites you to reimagine discipleship and reinhabit a world held together by Jesus with confidence, purpose, and joy. This is not a book on spiritual practices-it's a holistic vision for reintegrating the seemingly disjointed aspects of life through apprenticeship to the One who holds all things together. Heath Hardesty is the lead pastor of Valley Community Church and the creative lead of Inklings Coffee & Tea (a vibrant shop and midsized performing arts venue that serves and engages over 3,000 people per week). Heath grew up in a blue-collar home and was a plumber's apprentice and service plumber in Colorado before becoming a pastor in the technicolor land of Silicon Valley. He is married to Marla and has three kids: Silas, Hadley, and Olivia.
