This book invites us to heal the strife that societal and personal problems have caused, which leave us feeling anxious or hopeless in ways that default us to past tendencies for cynicism, denial, fear and despair. The grace mindset tools in this book offer us courage to awaken to more inner kindness, more acceptance, even when we make mistakes, and more care for one another. We'll begin to place more hope in what matters and what lasts, trusting more in an eternal inner presence and love.
This book's interactive exercises, tips, prompts, illustrations, and sample stories empower hope and kindness. Each page is designed to especially encourage those of us who have felt powerless to bring change to emotional obstacles we face. It differs from devotionals that show divine agency, as it emphasizes human access and awakening of infinite loving-kindness we all possess, yet may miss! With access to grace we can enjoy reconciliation with those we cherish, and with effort, over time we can renew all experiences with calmer and safer responses on both sides.
When grievances become our common bond, grace can become our pathway into safe spaces, where we are held with warmth and acceptance, and where loving-kindness sets the tone. We can expect to see results from the first pages, about how to access and awaken unconditional love and self-acceptance. With our grace mindset we discover how to free up energy to develop multiple proclivities, offer unconditional loving-kindness to all, overcome difficulties, and value others with patience and kindness.
