Maria is a nineteen-year-old virgin whose heart is racing with anticipation as she sits in a bar and attempts to look conspicuous. When a suave gentleman approaches and asks her to dance, Maria immediately becomes enamored, especially when Nick gives her his phone number and asks her to call.
Nick is a recent honorably discharged marine who has returned from Vietnam to his family and his old job in a brickyard. Maria, who is working full-time at the steel mill, is also juggling two other part-time jobs. After a few dates, Nick asks Maria to christen his new sports car, setting into motion a chain of events that leads Maria to lose her virginity and begin a lust-filled escapade through one sexual encounter after another. As she focuses on pleasing both her partners and herself, Maria transforms into an uninhibited, bold, and self-assured pursuer of men who adores being in the spotlight.
A Single Touch follows a young woman's sexual escapades as she attempts to satiate her thirst for passionate encounters.
