About
Kickboxing champion. Legendary pot smuggler. Uber successful entrepreneur.
Step into the gripping, electrifying narrative of 3X World Champ, the true story of a three-time kickboxing champion whose life took a wild turn into the shadowy world of marijuana smuggling. Set against the backdrop of 1980s Miami-a time of glitz, glamour, and organized crime-this memoir unveils the astonishing career of Thaddeus J. "Ted" Pryor.
In each stage of his life, Ted has always come out on top-even when the odds were stacked against him. 3X World Champ reveals how Ted became the master of the pot smuggling business around the Caribbean islands. Navigating a perilous web of drug trade kingpins and corrupt cops, Ted and his crew hustled in hundreds of millions of dollars in weed under the noses of law enforcement and coast guard patrols-until a dubious traffic stop began the unraveling of everything. What began as easy money became a ringside seat to kidnapping, murder, police double-crosses, and an outcome that surprised even him.
Follow Ted's incredible journey as he:
- Secretly becomes a key player in the biggest marijuana trafficking operation in American history-while publicly beloved as a middleweight kickboxing legend
- Works as a bodyguard for stars including Elvis Presley, frequenting celebrity-drenched nightclubs
- Draws the attention of the Miami mafia before being personally selected as a guard and personal intimidator for the kingpin
- Faces down his notorious employer who asks him to carry out a hit-then wants him dead when he refuses
- Loses his shot at Hollywood stardom and takes a harrowing turn in prison after everything comes crashing down
- Gets a fresh start-and turns his life around as CEO of a brand new business unlike anything that came before
Enthralling from beginning to end, this is the story of the rise and fall-and rise, once more-of the biggest bigger-than-life character you'll ever meet: a three-time world champ who lived to tell the craziest story you'll ever hear.
