About

Bergen County (NJ) Chief of Detectives Robert Anzilotti elicited confessions from a vicious serial killer-Richard Cottingham, the Torso Killer. He was serving five life sentences for targeting prostitutes in 1980 in New York City. Anzilotti also suspected he murdered schoolgirls in the '60s and '70s, across the Hudson River from Manhattan. He made it his mission to prove it and get him to confess.
