FBI Agents Reed and Milner infiltrate a cult led by Dexter Venito and his wife Theodosia. As Milner embraces the cult, Reed perceives danger. After a dark ritual reveals Dexter's power, Reed escapes and commits to saving Theodosia from the cult.

A clue leads Fairbanks and Elsa to interrogate Braxton Chamberland, architect of the Darkland Park. With his help, they unearth its dark history and find that the answers to Tammy's disappearance may lie back within the park itself.

The opening of a cursed sarcophagus and the discovery of an ancient ring triggers a catastrophic chain of events for the Birchwood family. Living in a nightmare and tormented by a dreamworld, Theodosia is pushed by fate into Dexter's path.
