The Prime Radicals - Season 2

When Uncle Norm tells Alanna and Kevin that the local ice cream shop is sold out of their favorite Choco Crunch ice cream, they set off to figure out why Bernie's parlour can't keep it in stock. They learn all about the MODE (the most frequent value) from a local hat vendor. When the day is done, Uncle Norm is "in the mode".

At the workshop, Uncle Norm is a frustrated artist who is trying to teach the Inventonator simple animation, in the hopes of bringing to life their math-tastic adventures in a cartoon called "Rad Stuff". The kids visit an animator to learn abouta grid technique that will help anyone learn to draw anything – even Uncle Norm!

Uncle Norm is heading off with his hush hush pals on a camping weekend. He knows that a grown-up needs to drink about one and one-half litres of water every day, and he's not totally sure how much a litre is. The the Rads visit a dairy farm tohelp him figure out that one and one-half litres times two, or double, would add up to 3 litres, which would help him get through the two day weekend.

At the last minute, Alannna's swim team needs someone to manage the cash box at a craft sale. It is up to Uncle Norm to save the day, in spite of his fear of change … making change, that is. They learn more about "counting up" so they can provide customers with the correct change after Kevin talks to a bakery shop owner.

The Rads find Uncle Norm trying to figure out the weight and cost of healthy snacks by trying to weigh one grape. Kevin points out that one grape is really small, and doesn't weigh much at all, so it's really hard to check its weight on a bathroom scale. To satisfy Uncle Norm's kilo curiosity Alanna visits a veterinarian who will weigh some animals using different size scales.
