The inspiring true story of the rise, fall and comeback of North American hockey legend, Don Cherry. From a young age Don had only one thing on his mind: becoming a professional hockey player. His brash and gregarious personality often rubbed authorities the wrong way through his years as a player and coach. It particularly hurt him during his time as coach of the Boston Bruins - a role he eventually lost due to his tense relationship with the General Manager. His personality came to work in his favour, however, when he caught the eye of an executive producer of a nationally televised hockey programme, paving the way for Don to become one of the most popular and influential media commentators of all time.
