Rob and Amy dream of a sylvan outdoor wedding chalked with vivid colours and untraditional touches. Their wedding planner, Yvette Shier, has her own ideas of what a wedding should be, even if the budget is getting stretched. Untraditional touches are not exactly what Yvette envisions. The groom is tense-and with good reason-he is waiting for a divorce to be finalized! The bride can't find her dress and there is a rainstorm. Rain is supposed to be a harbinger of good luck at a wedding, but will this wedding come up daisies?

Susanna and Mike lead busy and active lives and realize-all too suddenly-that their dream wedding is just that: all dreams and no plans. Enter Jaime Crouch, a wedding planner and award winning décor artist who arrives two weeks before the wedding to wrap up loose ends and put order where chaos could easily reign. Jaime tries-he really does-to steer Susanna in the right direction but she protests every step of the way, preferring to use her family connections. There is a lesson here for everyone: Will Susanna discover that you really do only get what you pay for?

Nicole is a bride with a definite vision of her wedding. She knows the look, colour, style and mood she wants for her big day. Jay Wheatley is a discerning woman with a lot of experience planning weddings; she can make Nicole's dreams come true if only the bride will budge on her budget. With flowers from the grocery store gracing the venue and not one cent allocated for decor, the fiscal and style challenge falls to the wedding planner. Jay concedes that a homemade cake is a beautiful touch, but doubts it will survive a five-hour car trip from kitchen to wedding.

Natalie and Blair are very much in love and believe that their wedding day plans are all wrapped up in a tidy little package. Everything seems so perfect. They get a wake-up call, however, when wedding planners Lori Eldridge and Carina Holtby inform them that the construction of their charming wedding venue won't be completed in time for the big day. With a location change, a date change, and a major budget change, the bride and groom are unhappy. Can this couple scramble to find the extra money to make their dream into a reality? Sometimes two wedding planners really are better than one.

Agnes and Sean opt for a tasteful and sophisticated affair after they realize they can't afford to have their dream wedding in Fiji. Top wedding planner Cynthia Martyn is brought in to assist Agnes with her indecisive ways and her very opinionated and involved mother, Diane. Tensions are running high and the bride won't let her groom out of her sight, which isn't helping the situation. The wedding dress is lovely, but it is a size fourteen and a bride is a size four. Cynthia's task is to make all of the pieces fit and save the day, and some relationships.
