1. Byron or Bust

Lyndey and Herbie immerse themselves in the beautiful environment of the coast and hinterland. From bush tucker to talking turkey, they discover some great characters and create some exceptional recipes. The classic country show gets the once over in Bangalow and then it's time for unwinding at Olivia Newton John's spectacular retreat. Armed with local produce, they create a spiced turkey breast and cook delicious Asian prawns.

In this episode Lyndey and Herbie create recipes from breakfast through to dinner. In a magnificent rainforest they eat macadamias straight from the tree. They explore the latest trends in farming pork and grab coffee beans direct from the source. They devise a heavenly way to start the day with local coffee and homemade muesli; tapas with a local beer or two and a blood orange meringue dessert completes the menu and their journey around Byron Bay.

3. The Dazzling Coast

Queensland's Sunshine Coast has crystal blue waters, white sands, and is surrounded by green rolling hills, which makes for perfect agricultural conditions and a haven for food producers. We begin with a ginger fiesta: a tour of the Buderim ginger factory, a chat with a ginger farmer, and some delicious 'Ginger, Cardamom and Mango Crepes'. Wind it all up with a little ballroom dancing and it's a great day out. Lyndey and Herbie visit a gorgeous vegie farm, meet a Wagyu farmer who creates a wonderful stress-free life for his cows and then as the sun sets, they create the perfect steak dinner by the river.

4. Sunshine Extra

In this second visit to the sunny coast, Lyndey meets a great character who breeds water buffalo, and combined with a local trumpet player's cheese, she creates her 'Spiced Bocconcini Salad'. Lyndey and Herbie discover the common garden snail breeding like wild fire at the Glasshouse Mountains Snail Farm and check out a local spanner crab company that has turned the industry on its head. That visit inspires Lyndey's mouth-watering 'Linguine with Noosa Spanner Crab and Lemon Myrtle'. The journey concludes with a cooking session at the sublime Spirit House where a glass of Riesling compliments the head chef's famous Miang of Duck.

5. Riverina Food Bowl

Defined by the great Murrumbidgee River, the Riverina area is a flourishing food bowl, brimming with magnificent produce. Here, Lyndey and Herbie uncover some gems: a lake in the middle of Wagga brimming with fish, an innovative lamb farm and a beautiful cherry orchard. These local ingredients pave the way for some delectable recipes including 'Slow Roasted Tunisian Spiced Lamb ', Herbie's special fish curry and a tantalising sour cherry parfait.

With such an array of wonderful produce, this episode explores more Riverina treasures with Lyndey and Herbie discovering a citrus orchard singing with freshness, walnuts straight from the tree, a quaint caper farm and world class wineries. And while the produce is amazing, the recipes really shine here: a classic bruschetta with a twist, a rice recipe that includes some Milan magic and Lyndey's divine walnut cake.
