JOSH, LEON, EWAN and WATTO-four lifelong friends and self-confessed "fist-chewing business children"-have just sold their start-up for $300m.
Which is great. Sure. But not without its problems. Because they might've grown up in each other's pockets, but now those pockets are lined with gold and suddenly loyalties are being tested and fault-lines are opening.
LOADED is about male friendship, ambition, greed, the peculiarly British distaste for other people's success, and what happens when you've got £14.5m in the bank but the cash machine has a £300 daily limit.

Having sold their online game Cat Factory, the boys of Idyl Hands are flush with cash and Leon wastes no time in showing it off, cruising around in his new red Ferrari and hiring a barbershop quartet to insultingly serenade all those who didn't believe in their dream. Josh attempts to woo back his ex-girlfriend Abi, but instead she announces that she's got a new boyfriend. Watto is served legal papers for having allegedly stolen the original game idea from someone else. Casey, the American boss overseeing the purchase of Idyl Hands, arranges a lawyer for the boys to handle the lawsuit. It doesn't go well.

Having convinced the boys to go in together on a luxurious house, Leon's next major purchase is a helicopter. Josh meets Abi to give her an unsettling birthday present only to have his wooing side-lined by Abi's new boyfriend Greg, a go-getting, high-achieving cycling for charity GIANT of a man. Watto is kicked out of his death metal band - despite purchasing an all-new drum kit, complete with bongos.
Leon, disappointed that his 'aspirational' talk at his former school was missed by Mr Dunn, the one teacher who said he wouldn't amount to anything, seeks him out at home. Nonplussed by most of Leon has to say, Mr Dunn explains how he's dying of Stage 4 cancer. Leon sets off on a mission to help his old schoolteacher die with dignity.

Casey has plans to streamline Idyl Hands, beginning with Ewan, Leon, Josh and Watto re-interviewing for their jobs. Josh's parents, Jeff, and Linda are in crisis after returning early from their round-the-world trip - they've realized they can't stand each other.
