About

When a halfway home for released prisoners faces closure - the former prisoners face a dramatic junction, will they be able to integrate back into society or will they return to their previous lives' The series centers around Anat, a social worker and current manager of the group home, who deals with both the shutting down of her life's work and the reemergence of Niko, her former ward and flame.

After a family vacation, Anat returns back to her work at the hostel to find Niko, a newly-released prisoner and her ex-lover. Twelve years ago, during her internship as a social worker, Anat was put in charge of integrating Niko back into society. She desperately searched for a job for him, fought the welfare system, and got caught up in his past when a violent gang tried to settle their score.

2. The Past Returns

Sure that Niko is seeking revenge for her calling the police on him all those years ago, Anat is certain that he told management about their shared past, leading to her being summoned to a meeting. Anat gets even more concerned when the hostel she sent Niko to, sends him right back to her. In the meantime, the other ex-cons in the hostel deal with their own issues.

3. Sleep Paralysis

Shlomi fails the soccer team tryouts and almost relapses back to using drugs. Maya feels guilty for letting him down and finds it difficult to help him overcome the disappointment. The return of Niko to Anat's life leads to her husband discovering that Niko might be the biological father of their son. Hanan, who feels that he has been living a lie, fears that Anat never loved him.

Anat goes to a meeting with the Rehabilitation Manager, worried that he is about to fire her. She quickly finds out that he called the meeting to inform her that the hostel will shut down by the end of the month due to budgetary reasons. She can't find it in herself to let her staff and patients know. But by the end of the day, Anat gets into an argument and all the patients come to her aid.

6. Maya

Maya feels lost. The hostel was her second home and she doesn't know how to move on. She left her apartment & is living out of her car. She goes to a job interview at a Sex Offenders Hostel, the only hostel that hasn't closed yet. During the interview the hostel's director aggressively questions her personality and professionalism. She points out that Maya has gotten too close to her patients.
