Incredible Dennis the Menace - Season 1

Dennis goes into the hospital, frightened by "misinformed" medical facts his friends have given. However, when Mr. Wilson accidentally winds up as his roommate, he forgets about his own fears, and sets out to "protect" his friend. In the end, Mr. Wilson is so distraught and beleaguered by Dennis' "care," that he begs to be put in the isolation of the intensive care unit!

Dennis decides he's too big for baby-sitters and tells Joey it's time they "became men. " However, duplicating the exact things Mr. Wilson was supposed to have done as a young man, he soon has Margaret on his case, trying to prove a point for all womanhood.

Dennis wages an all-out commando strike on the neighborhood bully. But he inadvertently "captures" a toothache-ridden Mr. Wilson instead, and the two are stuck together on a wild odyssey to the dentist's office, filled with "pains, trains and automobiles". During their trek, Dennis learns a valuable lesson about the true nature of bullies…

Like kids often do, Dennis is neglecting his "Ruff-sponsibilities". So, when Ruff goes to the vet's for a short stay, Dennis thinks a mechanical mutt replacement is the "most perfect dog" there is. However, when he comes to realize how much he misses Ruff, it's almost too late. His pal has run away.

Dennis has to deal with "changes" when Joey takes a liking to Margaret and his best friend, Mr. Wilson, plans to move to a retirement community. To make matters worse, Dennis is put into a Daycare when his Mom takes a real job.

When Henry brings home blueprints for a new electric car he is building, Dennis uses them for his plans to tunnel under Mr. Wilson's flower bed. Henry gets the plans back and completes the electric car.

After Dennis breaks a mirror, Margaret tells him he is in store for some bad luck. But Dennis doesn't believe it until a series of mishaps change his mind. Soon all of Dennis' friends believe he is cursed, even Joey is afraid to be around him. Dennis tries everything to turn his luck around but nothing helps – until an eccentric neighbor teaches him that bad luck is balderdash.

Dennis believes HIS dad is the greatest of 'em all! But when Henry makes heroic headlines for capturing a prowler, Chuck Millman challenges the claim to greatness. This leads to a comical trip to the Naval Base where Dennis believes his dad is "Head of the Whole Navy", and the record is finally set straight… though the Navy will never be the same!

Dennis hears his parents saying they would like new furniture, so he and Joey sell all the Mitchell's furniture along with Mr. Wilson's favorite chair for forty-three dollars. // Henry decides to take the day off from work to spend time with Dennis. But first he has to run a few errands and visit with a construction site.

The Wilson's and the Mitchell's set out separately to go camping. But when the Mitchell's car breaks down, George is forced to pick them up in his Wheelorama RV. Having Dennis along proves painful for George, especially when Dennis allows skunks into the RV. George ends up paying a Fumigator a fortune, but when he receives a coin in his change, he decides the trip wasn't a total loss.

Dennis cheats on a placement test and ends up in the "Genius" class. In the class, he meets a boy named Willard who has never really had fun. But when Dennis takes him home, Willard applies his brilliance to skateboarding and baseball, breaking one of Mr. Wilson's windows like a pro. Feeling out of place in the genius class, Dennis confesses to cheating and goes back to the regular class.

Dennis is warned by his parents not to take in more stray pets. But when he finds a stray pig, he sees it as a perfect companion for Ruff. // It is the Fourth of July and Dennis and friends are building a float for the parade.
