About

1. Episode 1

Detective Sergeant Helen Weeks hasn't come to terms with being a mother yet; a copper first and foremost - she doesn't want to sit around in cafes all day breastfeeding. She hasn't even told her boyfriend - fellow detective - Paul about the pregnancy. But when Helen does break the news, he's utterly delighted and his joy is contagious.

2. Episode 2

Helen and Paul are joined by pathologist friend Phil Hendricks as they become further embroiled in the abduction case. The clock is ticking to find Poppy alive and clear Bates's name, but to Paul's vexation, Helen seems increasingly disturbed by being in Polesford. Is she too distracted by pressing secrets past and present to keep her mind on the case?

3. Episode 3

A gangland shooting has tragic consequences, and Helen is plunged into a murder investigation in Manchester's criminal underworld, forcing her to question everything she holds dear.
